Fidelity opens up full access to its Crypto platform for US users
Fidelity Investments, a major US investment firm, has opened up full access for US retail traders to its Crypto platform. Previously, only users from the "white list" had access to it.
Fidelity Crypto users must create a brokerage account and go through confirmation. Only two assets are available for trading - bitcoin and ether. At the same time, Fidelity does not charge commissions. There is a spread between the buy and sell price, but it should not exceed 1%. At the moment, the withdrawal of funds from the platform is not available, but this feature will be activated in the near future.
Fidelity currently has 3,71 million users, but soon millions of Americans will be able to access cryptocurrency trading. Fidelity was one of the first major investment and brokerage firms in the US to provide access to digital asset trading.
Recall that the launch of Fildelity Crypto took place in November last year, but only users who had previously subscribed to the waiting list received access to the platform.
