Lookonchain: Unidentified people withdrew $145 million worth of stablecoins from FTX wallets
Despite ongoing law enforcement investigations into FTX and its subsidiary Alameda Research, some of them have withdrawn 69,64 million USDT stablecoins and 75,94 million USDC from linked wallets.
The Lookonchain service reported that funds from three wallets linked to bankrupt companies were distributed over different sites. Tether stablecoins have been transferred to the Coinbase, Binance and Kraken exchanges. All USD coins were sent to an escrow wallet on the Coinbase exchange. It is not yet known for what purpose the assets were moved.
FTX and Alameda continue to return assets. In January, FTX attorney Andy Dietderich revealed that the companies had regained access to $5 billion in fiat currencies and other liquid assets. However, the companies' total liabilities exceed $8,8 billion.
Earlier it was reported that FTX is going to sell a stake in the venture capital company Sequoia Capital to a fund from Abu Dhabi. Apparently, the transaction was successfully completed, and the shares of Sequoia moved to the fund.
