Cryptocurrency exchange OKX crashed due to server issues
On Friday, March 17, the OKX cryptocurrency exchange about a temporary failure. The exchange specialists reported that they had restored the operation of the platform and assured that the user funds were safe.
OKX security specialists admitted on Twitter that in the exchange system the failure occurred due to intermittent problems with the servers. Half an hour after the notification was published, technical specialists fixed the failure, and the trading platform resumed work. The exchange team apologized for the inconvenience caused and asked users to contact support if they notice any deviations.

This is not the first time OKX has reported outages. In December 2022, the trading platform encountered technical errors that prevented clients from withdrawing funds. The failure arose due to the unavailability of the Alibaba Cloud service. The exchange was able to resume making deposits and withdrawing funds only the next day.
At the end of last year, the marketplace introduced a Proof of Reserve Report (PoR) to ensure that customers can ensure the safety of their funds.
