A large underground mine farm was discovered in the Stavropol Territory

Specialists of Rosseti North Caucasus discovered a large mining farm in the Shpakovsky district of the Stavropol Territory. Together with the police, 66 ASIC miners were seized.

It is reported that a resident of the village of Nadezhda placed in his house a rather large mining farm. He illegally connected to the power grid and installed a step-down substation to power the equipment. According to power engineers, the underground harvester consumed about 954 kWh. The cost of energy is more than 000 million rubles.

“At the moment, power engineers have managed to find out and use the mechanism for identifying cases of alleged theft of electricity. Our experts identify violators, including by the amount of electricity consumed and changes in the load from the power grid, says Yuri Korolev, Deputy Director of the Department for Security and Anti-Corruption of Rosseti North Caucasus.

Given that the amount of damage is large, the underground miner can be held criminally liable.

Earlier it was reported that several residents of Tomsk stole electricity for 24 million rubles for the operation of mining equipment and a hotel building.
